Until We Meet Again

Kaniu's funeral was today. There's only one word to describe it: surreal. I'd never have imagined that I'd unexpectedly see so many of my relatives in such as a result of such a tragic & unnatural situation. My nephew touched quite a few people in his short 20 years. And although today was about saying goodbye in this life, I'm sure I'll see him again. He's gone from here, but I just feel he's not gone forever. It all reminded me of when I waved goodbye to the Norwegian. Even though I felt I may never see him again in this life, he touched me so deeply (and shared THE CELESTINE PROPHECY with me) that I feel our spirits will cross paths again. Rest in peace, Kaniu, until we meet again.
